The Town of Paradise advises that road work for a section of St. Thomas Line is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 18. The work is in the vicinity of Civic #6 St. Thomas Line and is expected to take three days to complete. The Town of Paradise advises that maintenance and repair work for the Woodstock Lift Station (in the vicinity of 1973 Topsail Road) is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
During the construction time, the eastbound lane of Topsail Road in that area will be closed and traffic delays can be expected (the lane will be opened each evening). The Town of Paradise gathered today to celebrate its involvement in the 2025 Canada Games as a Community Partner. The Town is proud to be a host site for two sports, beach volleyball and box lacrosse. The Town of Paradise advises a planned, temporary water shut-off is scheduled for Ashlen Crescent (civic numbers 94 to 126) on Thursday, September 21 from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The water shut-off is related to the ongoing water and sewer upgrades on Stephen’s Road. Residents are reminded to run their water for a few minutes when water is restored in case of any discolouration or air in the pipes. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
